SF&OC Greater Bay Area Youth Sports Exchange Programme (Guangzhou – Foshan)

Undertaking and Parent Consent
We cordially invite you to participate in the “SF&OC Greater Bay Area Youth Sports Exchange Programme” to be held on 19th – 22nd July 2023 (Wed – Sat). The SF&OC will join hands with the Guangdong Provincial Social Sports, Sports Training and Competition Center to organize the Programme in Guangzhou and Foshan.
Participant Requirements:
1. Athletes Aged between 12-18 years old.
2. Holder of permanent HKID
3. Has valid travel documents to China
The SF&OC will cover all expenses, including transportation, accommodation, meals, and travel insurance throughout the Programme. The players will be accompanied by one coach and one manager from each section (total 4 officials). Attached please find the general information, tentative schedule and the absence and withdrawal policy (in Chinese) for your reference.
(Absence and withdrawal policy: in case of withdrawal from the programme 10 days before departure, 2/3 of the programme costs will be charged; in case of withdrawal within 10 days from departure or absence on departure day, the participants will have to bear all costs.)
Interested parties shall enroll on or before 12th June 2023, at 12pm via this link: https://forms.gle/72wdF5SmwfCv7ocn7 .There will be a total quota of 30 athletes (15 boys and 15 girls). In case there are more applicants than specified quota, each section will make the decision on the final list of participants.
Please note that you are required to provide the followings in the online enrolment form:
- Sizes of your uniform (size charts please refer to the enrolment form)
- Copy of valid travel document (e.g., Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents(回鄉證)or others) (the costs for visa application to China will be borne by the participants)
- Copy of Hong Kong Identity Card
- Undertaking and Parent Consent (see attachment) signed by the participants and also the parent or guardian of any participants under 18 years old
Upon successful selection, participants are also required to submit a cheque of HK$2,000 as a deposit for joining the programme. The cheque will be returned to the participants who fully attended the programme.
