Dear Convenors, 

The Women's Section invites eligible players to join the HockeyHKWS Bauhinia Junior Development A and B teams. As in previous years, these teams will participate in the Women’s Winter League as mid-week teams. Players can join both their club and the development team. We seek players with strong potential and commitment. We encourage all U21 players to attend the training sessions. 

Bauhinia A will compete in the Premier Division. For the first round, the team will consist of HKSAR passport holders only, preparing for the Junior Asia Cup 2024 in December.

Bauhinia B will compete in Division 1.

Days and Times:
Monday: 16:30-18:00
Tuesday: 18:00-19:30
Friday: 16:30-18:00
Venue: Happy Valley Recreation Ground No. 11

A Team Requirements:

1. Under 21, HKSAR passport holders born on or after 1st January 2003*
2. Available for midweek matches (Mondays at 19:00, Happy Valley Pitch No. 9+10)
3. Attend training sessions listed above
*Requirement on HKSAR passport holders relaxed after Round 1, post Junior Asia Cup 2024

B Team Requirements:

1. Under 21, born on or after 1st June 2003 (all welcome)
2. Available for midweek matches (Mondays at 19:00, occasionally Wednesdays and Fridays, same location)
3. Attend training sessions listed above
4. Not registered to a Premier team for the 23/24 season 

Team lists for Monday matches will be announced on Wednesday morning the week prior, based on attendance, attitude, and ability.

Those selected to play for Bauhinia must play for Bauhina unless prior consent from the Head Coach is given to play for their own club.

After November 15th, training pitches will be shared with our U12 Academy. If necessary, selection of players may be required to reduce squad sizes - this will be based on training and match attendance, attitude, and performance from the previous two months.
