HKHAWS 20-21 Circular No. 13 - WL 2020-21 Revised Fixtures & Extension of Visiting Player & Transfer

Attachment: Women's League Fixtures (13 Mar - 1 May 2021)

Dear Convenors

Fixtures: Further to our previous circular no. 11 we are pleased to attach the final fixtures for the remaining league games for the coming season.  Placeholders have been inserted for the additional half round for the Premier Division and Division Four.  These will be updated as soon as possible.  Please note that the Premier Division will be split into top four and bottom three.  With regards to Division Three, following the withdrawal of Ewis B the league standings will be amended to exclude the results of the previously completed matches involving this team.

Fixtures for the Guv Dillon Cup for the Premier Division will be circulated later under separate cover.   Please note that the HKHAWS will consider the possibility of arranging one day tournaments after the conclusion of league matches and update you in due course.

Timings:  Please check times closely and ensure that teams and umpires arrive sufficiently early for matches to be able to start on time.

Covid-19 Restrictions: In accordance to government regulations, all players entering the venues are required to fill in the 'Leave Home Safe' app or paper form. Please allow ample time to do so in order to comply with the above.  All players are reminded to adhere to government Covid-19 regulations as well as the latest HKHA Covid-19 guidelines available at the following link.

Extension of Deadlines:  Due to the delay in the start of the league, its subsequent suspension and its imminent resumption, the HKHAWS has agreed to extend the deadline referred to the Competition Bye-laws 6.3 and 8.6 in relation to the registration of visiting players and player transfers respectively, from 1 February 2021 to 1 April 2021.

Thank you all for your ongoing patience and understanding and hope you enjoy the return to hockey.

Kind regards
