HockeyHKWS 25-26 Circular No. 5 - Provisional 2025/26 Winter League and Cup Fixtures
Please see the attached draft Winter League and Cup fixtures for season 2025/26. Please kindly submit comments by EOD Monday 25th August in the specified format (see “Comments sheet” within the file). Final fixtures will be issued Friday 29th August including umpiring duties.
A reminder that due to the closure of Kings Park Hockey Ground for the first half of the season, pitch space remains at a premium. We will not be able to accommodate any change requests without sufficient reason (e.g. major life events). Swaps may be considered if the requesting club proposes a viable solution. If there are many cancellations of midweek games, there is a possibility that we may have to utilise Saturday slots for rescheduling. Please note, as discussed in the convenor's meeting, for Premier A, there is at least one round of matches on a Sunday – WS is collaborating with the MS to host back to back Premier Division games to foster comradery and help support the preparation of our HK National Team athletes for competition by having back-to-back games.
Further changes may be required once international fixtures/ tours for the season are confirmed.
Note that all cup matches, and cup brackets have been included. Cup draws will be completed after one full round of matches and fixtures will be updated accordingly.
