Dear All,
The Men's National Squad Committee will be conducting selection trial sessions to select potential players for Men’s Asian Games Qualifiers (AGQ) 2022 on 10 Dec and 14 Dec 2021 from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm at King’s Park Hockey Ground.
Players that wish to be considered for selection for the Hong Kong Men’s national team participating in this tournament are cordially invited to attend training on 10 Dec (Fri) and 14 Dec 2021 (Tue) from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm at King’s Park Hockey Ground. Players attending these sessions should arrive at the ground sharp and bring along a white shirt and a dark blue shirt, mouth guard and shin guard.
Upon reviewing players’ performances at these sessions, the Men’s National team coach may extend an invitation to certain players to continue training with the Men’s Senior Squad with a view to assessing them for selection for the AGQ squad.
The current Men’s Senior Squad training sessions are generally held every Tuesday and Friday evening from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm at King's Park Hockey Ground. There are also additional ad hoc training sessions, when deemed appropriate.
The Asian Hockey Federation has advised the HKHA that only HKSAR passport are eligible to represent Hong Kong at international tournaments. Players are therefore required to produce their HKSAR passport as proof of eligibility before they can be considered for selection for the AGQ squad. You can either bring a copy of your passport to training or send in a soft copy by email to jowiewong@hockey.org.hk .
