Hockey Hong Kong, China is holding selections for U10 and U12 players to participate in the Youth Hockey Exchange Programme 2026/27 – Hangzhou tentatively scheduled to take place from 30 January - 2 February 2027.
Details of the selections are as below:
Assessment period: 28 September to 20 November 2026
No. of players: 10 players each for MS and WS across both U10 and U12, totalling 40 players
Eligibility and requirements:
1. Limited to players of the U12 Academy Programme, Bauhinia and HKJ.
2. Age limits for U10 Team: born between 1st Jan 2016 – 31st Dec 2017; age limits for U12 Team: born between 1st Jan 2014 – 31st Dec 2015. (Updated)
3. All the above players will be considered by default.
4. Attendance at designated training sessions is compulsory for all selected players.
In addition to the LCSD subvention, a participation fee of $2,000 will be charged for each selected player to cover overseas transportation, full board and lodging, travel insurance and team uniforms. Those who are unavailable to travel must inform HockeyHK by noon, 13 November 2026. Announcement of selection results is tentatively scheduled for 27 November 2026. Please note that any selected player who withdraws after the announcement of results without a valid explanation or supporting documentation will have their withdrawal formally recorded for future selection considerations.

Additionally, parents who are interested in supporting the teams as Team Managers during the event are invited to submit their expression of interest to HockeyHK by noon, 30 November 2026. Air tickets, full board and lodging and manager allowance of $500/day will be provided (except visa fee) for selected managers after the completion of manager’s duties. To avoid any conflict of interest, selected Team Managers will not be assigned to the same team as their children.
