Dear Convenors

In light of the latest Covid-19 outbreak which is within the sports community in Hong Kong and growing, the HKHAWS has determined that it’s too early to formulate a clear picture of how widely the cases have spread and assess the risk to our participants, so we have taken the decision postpone all league matches on Saturday 13 March 2021.

We will review the situation early next week and revert with a further update.

We appreciate this is disappointing to many but our priority is the health and safety of all involved.  To this end we would like to remind all clubs of the HKHA Covid-19 Guidelines http://hockey.org.hk/images/Council/Guidelines_on_Prevention_of_COVID19/Guidelines_and_Special_arrangement_on_Prevention_of_COVID19_(updated_on_6Nov2020).pdf on our website and to inform us of any positive or suspected cases within your teams as noted therein.

In the meantime please remain vigilant, monitor symptoms closely and maintain strict hygiene including mask wearing and social distancing.
