HKHA P&D Section 18-19 Circular No. 7 - FIH Coaching Course 2019

Dear coaches,

The FIH will organize a Level 2 and a Level 3 Coaching Course in Ipoh, Malaysia in March 2019. The number of nomination is limited by HKHA. Interested candidates please reply with your CV on or before 15 February 2019. We will inform the successful candidates on 20 February 2019. Thank you.

FIH Level 2 Coaching Course

The FIH Level 2 Coaching Course will be held in Ipoh MAS, from 27 to 30 March 2019. Preferred candidate working within a club/school and/or representative environment and assisting teams at top national competitions. Ideally applicants will be a Head Coach of an Age Group team. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in past 10 years. Candidates should be an independent B2+ English speaker, holding an FIH Academy Level 1 Coach certificate or equivalent.

Course fee and accommodation below for your reference.

Participation fees: The participation fee is 400 USD per candidate. This includes:

• 5 nights bed and breakfast accommodation: check-in on the afternoon of the 26th, check-out on the morning 31st March 2019

• Full board accommodation (with lunch and dinner) from 27th to 30th March 2019, dinner on 26th is also included

• Course materials and documents

• Entry to Sultan Azlan Shah Cup Matches

• Transportation between hotel, course venue and Sultan Azlan Shah Cup

• Refreshment during the course

FIH Level 3 Coaching Course

The FIH Level 3 Coaching Course will be held in Ipoh MAS, from 22 to 25 March 2019. Preferred candidate working with top national adult hockey players and assisting teams at top national and also international competitions. Ideally applicants will be a Head Coach of an Age Group team (top 16 nations) or Senior team (top 24 nations). Minimum of 5 years at a top national performance level (in past 10 years). Candidates should be an independent B2+ English speaker, holding an FIH Academy Level 2 Coach certificate or equivalent.

Course fee and accommodation below for your reference.

Participation fees: The participation fee is 650 USD per candidate. This includes:

• 5 nights bed and breakfast accommodation: check-in on the afternoon of the 21st, check-out on the morning 26th March 2019

• Full board accommodation (with lunch and dinner) from 22nd to 25th March 2019, dinner on 21st is also included

• Course materials and documents

• Entry to Sultan Azlan Shah Cup Matches

• Transportation between hotel, course venue and Sultan Azlan Shah Cup

• Refreshment during the course
