HKHA 22-23 Circular No. 7 - FIH - AHF Level 1 Technical Official Course and Umpire Course

Dear Convenors, Umpires and Technical Officials,

The Hong Kong Hockey Association will organize FIH - AHF Level 1 Technical Official Course and FIH - AHF Level 1 Umpire Course during 19-21 May 2023 in Hong Kong for individuals wanting to act as technical officials or umpires at initiation/beginner/foundation level. The courses will be interactive introductions to the skills and knowledge needed to become a hockey technical official or umpire.  Details of the courses are as following:

1) FIH - AHF Level 1 Technical Official Course 2023

Quota: 20 candidates

Instructor: Mr. Daljit Singh D Kartar Singh

Course Fee: HK$300 (uniform, refreshment, and certificate included)

2) FIH - AHF Level 1 Umpire Course 2023

Quota: 20 candidates

Instructor: Mr. Gurinder Singh Sangha

Course Fee: HK$300 (uniform, theory test, refreshment, and certificate included)

Participants who completed the umpire course with theory test passed will obtain the HKHA Umpires TP (Theory-passed) status.

Schedule:

Venue: King’s Park Hockey Ground

Language: English

Requirement: Aged 16 or above, applicants do not require any prior experience of hockey umpiring or officiating.

Payment method:

i) Cheque

- Make payable to “The Hong Kong Hockey Association” and write down 1) course name, 2) full name of the applicant and 3) telephone number at the back of the cheque and send to the Hong Kong Hockey Association, 1/F, Administration Block, King's Park Hockey Ground, 6 Wylie Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong

ii) Online payment / ATM transfer

- Transfer payment to HSBC 658-117627-838 (The Hong Kong Hockey Association) and you are required to submit the payment proof in the google application form (Bank in slip must show the HKHA account number and amount deposit and date of deposit.  Absence of bank-in slip or missing required information will be deemed as unsuccessful payment)
