Dear All,

The Men's National Squad Committee will be conducting a selection trial session to select potential players for Men's Asian Hockey 5s World Cup Qualifier & upcoming tournaments (until 31 December 2023) on 4 & 8 August 2023 from 8:00pm to 10:00pm at King’s Park Hockey Ground.

Upcoming tournaments may include Men's Asian Hockey 5s World Cup Qualifier in Salalah(August), HRH Sultan Nazrin Shah Men’s International Indoor Tournaments in Malaysia (November) and 4 Nation 2023 in Singapore (December).

Players that wish to be considered for selection for the Hong Kong Men’s national team participating in these tournaments are cordially invited to attend training on 4 & 8 August 2023 from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm at King’s Park Hockey Ground.

Upon reviewing players’ performances at these sessions, the Men’s National team coach may extend an invitation to certain players to continue training with the Men’s Squad with a view to assessing them for selection for Men's Asian Hockey 5s World Cup Qualifier & upcoming tournaments.

The current Men’s Squad training sessions are generally held every Tuesday and Friday evening from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm at King's Park Hockey Ground, gym session on Thursday from 8:30pm to 10:00pm at Wan Chai if you have been selected extra training session will be needed for Men's Asian Hockey 5s World Cup and HRH Sultan Nazrin Shah Men’s International Indoor Tournaments.

The Asian Hockey Federation has advised the HKHA that only HKSAR passport are eligible to represent Hong Kong at international tournaments.  Players are therefore required to produce their HKSAR passport as proof of eligibility before they can be considered for selection for the Men's Asian Hockey 5s World Cup Qualifier & upcoming tournaments.

For administrative purposes, please provide us with the personal details by filling in the google form before 5pm on 3 August 2023 if you are minded to attend the trial session.

Remarks:

1. Late submission will not be considered

2. Application is deemed as unsuccessful in absence of completed personal details

The personal data is collected purely for the purposes of facilitating visa applications and contacting you, should you be selected for Men's Asian Hockey 5s World Cup Qualifier & upcoming tournaments.

3. Please note that all players MUST attend both trail sessions. In case you cannot attend one of the sessions, please provide us a reason.
