Dear Convenors,
We are delighted to introduce the Hockey Young Athletes Training Academy, a new initiative by Hockey Hong Kong, China. This program is designed to foster talent and broaden the base of young hockey enthusiasts. We extend a warm invitation to players aged 8 to 14, irrespective of their backgrounds, to be a part of this promising venture.
The Young Athletes Training Academy is set to launch in the first half of 2024, with its continuation depending on its success. We will kick things off with a trial session throughout January and early February 2024.
Participants for the Academy will be selected based on their current skills and potential to represent Hong Kong in the future. We encourage players from all skill levels and backgrounds, ensuring a fair and inclusive opportunity for every budding athlete.
Here are the essential details for the trial session:
Dates: Every Tuesday and Thursday from 9th January to 8th February 2024.
Time: 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Venue: King's Park Hockey Ground
Eligibility: Boys aged 8-14, born between 1st January 2010 and 31st December 2016.
Please ensure all trialists wear mouth guards and shin pads, and bring their own hockey sticks.
For registration, please complete the online form and waiver by 31st December 2023. Players must have a signed waiver to participate.

Selected players will be required to attend training sessions every Tuesday and Thursday at King's Park Hockey Ground, with no fees involved. The finalized list will be announced by early February 2024.
