HockeyHKWS 23-24 Circular No. 13 - U12 Training Academy

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the U12 Training Academy, an initiative by WS aimed at nurturing talent and expanding the playing base of aspiring young hockey players. We cordially invite players between the ages of 8 and 12, from diverse backgrounds, to participate in this exciting program.
The U12 Training Academy will commence in the first half of 2024, and its success will be evaluated for potential continuation thereafter. To kick off this remarkable journey, we will be conducting a month-long trial session from 13th November to 8th December 2023.
Selection for the Academy will be based on the players' playing potential and current ability, and we welcome participants from all playing backgrounds. We believe in providing equal opportunities to every aspiring athlete.
Please find below the crucial details regarding the trial session:
Dates: Every Monday and Friday between 13th November and 8th December 2023 (inclusive)
Time: 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Venue: King's Park Hockey Ground
Coach in Charge: Ms. Coby Lau
Requirements: Girls Aged 8-12 from 1st Jan to 31st Dec 2024 (born between 1/1/2012 and 1/1/2016)
All trialists are required to wear a mouth guard and shin pads. Additionally, please remember to bring your own hockey stick.
To ensure a smooth registration process, kindly complete the online registration form and waiver form and submit them by 8th November 2023. Please note that players without a signed waiver will not be permitted to join the trials.

Selected players will be expected to join training every Monday and Friday, 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at King's Park Hockey Ground. Training is free of charge. The list will be announced by mid-December.
