Assistant Coach for Hong Kong Squads and Development Squads

The assistant coach’s main duties include:

1.    Assist head coach in all aspects of local training;

2.    Prepare and travel with the squads in all upcoming local and overseas training camps and tournaments, if any;

3.    Assist HockeyHK coach(es) to coach other HockeyHK squads if needed;

4.    Any other relevant duties as determined by Squad Committee or the head coach whenever necessary.

*All coaches will report to the HockeyHK Squad Committee.

We invite applicants who can demonstrate the following:

1.    Personality and people management’s skills to inspire excellence individually and as a team.

2.    Excellent communicator with all stakeholders

3.    Expertise in any particular area of the game / position

4.    Posession of a FIH Coaching Certificates (FIH Level 1 or higher, or an equivalent qualification)

5.    Coding knowledge is a plus

The initial term of appointment will be a contract for one year.  Renewal will be subject to mutual agreement and satisfactory performance.  There is scope for the role to be extended.  This role will be remunerated.  Interested parties should contact HockeyHK by email at info@hockey.org.hk no later than 12:00pm on 13 October 2026 (Monday) and provide a resume.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to give an interview and attend a trial assessment.
